DSF is a ranked competition.  It is divided into 3 categories:  
Intermediate:      Grades 7-8
Junior:                Grades 9-10
Senior:               Grades 11-12 

Prizes:
1st, 2nd and 3rd places receive a trophy.
4th, 5th, 6th places and HM receive a ribbon.
Senior Division Winner also receives $750 after performing at the Gala.

Intermediate Entry Fee:         $30/Member of DMTA               $50/NonMembers
Junior Entry Fee:                   $40/Member of DMTA.              $60/NonMembers
Senior Entry Fee:                  $60/Member of DMTA.              $80/NonMembers
Accompaniment fee for each category is $50 

Intermediate Entries sing 1 Class 3 piece from UIL PML  
Junior Entries sing 2 pieces from UIL PML, any Class
Senior Entries sing 3 pieces from UIL PML, any Class (maximum 10 minutes)                    
                                

Solo/Ensemble

You must register for this through your school’s choral director. 

Dates vary from school to school. Usually Jan/Feb.

Fees vary, but generally $12-$15 for entry fee.  Accompaniment Fee:  $25 Middle School,  $40 High School

Sing one solo from the Texas PML for adjudication.
